Exterior Paint Correction

Remove swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation from your paint the right way.

Paint correction is machine polishing done by hand, not a quick wash. We use a dual-action polisher with progressive grit pads to level the clear coat and remove what's stuck in it. Swirl marks from automatic car washes, fine scratches from tree branches, and that chalky oxidation that builds up in Texas heat all come out. The goal is bare clear coat that reflects light clean.

Spring's humidity and UV load mean your paint takes a beating. We start by assessing the damage with a paint depth gauge, then work through compounds and polishes in stages. The whole process takes a full day for most vehicles. We don't cut corners with one-step systems that just hide the problem under wax.

When you pick up your car, the paint looks wet even when it's dry. You'll see the difference in sunlight first. Swirls vanish. Scratches disappear. The color pops because light bounces off a smooth surface instead of getting scattered by damage. It's the foundation for any long-term protection.

Questions

About exterior paint correction

Will paint correction damage my clear coat?

No. We remove a microscopic layer of clear coat to reveal the undamaged layer beneath. We measure depth before and after to stay safe. If your clear coat is too thin, we'll tell you upfront.

How long does it last?

The correction itself is permanent. The included ceramic coating protects the corrected paint for about a year. After that, a maintenance wash keeps it looking new. Without protection, UV and contaminants start working on it again.

Can you fix deep scratches?

If the scratch goes through the clear coat into the base color, paint correction won't fix it. That needs a paint shop. We can tell you what's fixable and what isn't before we start.
